By using our website or registering for any programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with enrolment or use of our site.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Your use of the Ringgita website and any programme registration constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full. These Terms apply to all visitors, registrants, and participants. These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, both of which are incorporated by reference.
Ringgita reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our site or continued enrolment in a programme following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. About Our Services

3. Educational Content Only
All content provided by Ringgita — including but not limited to workshop sessions, written materials, templates, spreadsheets, community discussions, and website content — is intended solely as general educational information. Nothing provided by Ringgita constitutes:
- Regulated financial advice under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 or any other applicable Malaysian law
- Legal, accounting, or tax advice
- A recommendation to enter into, or abstain from, any specific financial transaction or business arrangement
- A personalised assessment of any individual's financial circumstances
Ringgita's facilitators and team members are not licensed financial advisers, accountants, or solicitors. Any information shared during sessions or in materials reflects general educational practice only.
Participants are encouraged to consult qualified, licensed professionals for advice specific to their personal or business circumstances before making significant financial or operational decisions.
4. Enrolment and Payment
To enrol in a programme, you must complete the contact or registration process on our website and pay the stated fee in full prior to attendance (unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed in advance).
- All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- Payment confirmation will be issued by email. Your place is not confirmed until payment has been received.
- Ringgita reserves the right to adjust programme fees for future intake cohorts with reasonable prior notice. Fees already paid for a confirmed place will not be affected.
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for any Ringgita programme. Enrolment is personal to you and is non-transferable without prior written consent from Ringgita.

- 7–14 days before programme start: 50% refund of fees paid.
- Less than 7 days before programme start: No refund. Where possible, we will offer a transfer to a future intake at our discretion.
- After programme commencement: No refund will be issued for any sessions already attended or materials already provided.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
If Ringgita cancels or significantly reschedules a programme, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of fees paid, or the option to transfer to a rescheduled session of equivalent value.
6. Intellectual Property
All content produced and provided by Ringgita — including workshop materials, templates, spreadsheets, slides, written guides, and website content — remains the intellectual property of Ringgita and is protected under Malaysian copyright law.
Upon payment of the applicable programme fee, participants receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use provided materials for their own sole-trader business purposes. This licence does not permit:
- Resale, redistribution, or sharing of materials with third parties for commercial purposes
- Reproduction of materials in other courses, training programmes, or publications without prior written consent
- Modification and redistribution of templates or materials under a different brand or identity
Community contributions posted by participants remain the property of the participant; by posting, participants grant Ringgita a non-exclusive licence to display such content within the community platform.
7. Community Standards
Participants in the Self-Employed Toolkit & Community and the Self-Employed Literacy Programme have access to a peer community platform. By participating, you agree to:
- Engage respectfully and constructively with other community members and Ringgita facilitators
- Not share information in the community that constitutes regulated financial, legal, or investment advice
- Not post any content that is defamatory, offensive, misleading, or in violation of applicable law
- Not use the community platform for unsolicited promotion of any product, service, or business
- Respect the confidentiality of other participants' shared personal and business information
Ringgita reserves the right to remove content that breaches these standards and to suspend or revoke community access for participants who repeatedly or seriously violate them, without refund of programme fees.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Malaysian law:
- Ringgita accepts no liability for any business, financial, or other outcomes arising from a participant's use of educational content, templates, or community discussions.
- Ringgita's total liability to any participant in connection with a programme shall not exceed the fees actually paid by that participant for that specific programme.
- Ringgita is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses of any kind, including but not limited to loss of revenue, business opportunity, or anticipated savings.
Nothing in these Terms limits Ringgita's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
